Laser Alignment

At EMEC, we deliver complete laser calibration services using advanced Renishaw XL-80 laser interferometer technology to ensure maximum machine accuracy and performance.  Our goal is to enhance precision, improve reliability, and reduce downtime—unlike basic calibrations that adjust ballscrew positioning but ignore critical geometric factors such as squareness, parallelism, and perpendicularity.  We provide a full Geometry Check Report and guarantee machine tool builder specifications, meeting JIS or ISO standards every time. EMEC uses Renishaw XL-80 Laser Interferometers.

Ball Bar Testing

Ball Bar Calibration measures two machine axes by running precise clockwise and counter-clockwise circular tests, comparing the actual motion to the programmed path for accurate performance analysis.  This test provides an instant health report of your machine tool, including a detailed visual of axis movement across multiple planes. It’s a powerful tool for predictive maintenance and determining overall positioning accuracy when integrated into a full maintenance program. EMEC uses Renishaw QC20-W Wireless Ballbar System.
