The Okuma MF-46VA adopts a powerful double-column structure together with an integral rotary 2-APC for high accuracy and high production in a compact footprint. Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept is standard on this machine for unrivaled dimensional stability over long, continuous runs. This vertical machining center is equipped with a high-speed, high-power 40-taper 8,000 rpm spindle with a 15 hp VAC liquid-cooled integral motor. This model incorporates a 6-second rotary 2-APC and a high-speed 20-position automatic tool changer [with options for 32 or 48 tools] and 1,574-ipm rapid traverse, resulting in a powerful production capability.
